Sun Exposure

Even the dog avoids the ultraviolet rays!!!

Sunshine makes you feel great. However, ultraviolet (UV) rays in the sunlight can damage the cells in your body. You get tan once you are under the sunlight. This is the result when your skin creates the brown-coloured pigment called melanin to protect your skin against harmful UV rays from the sunlight.Over time, small amounts of sunburn damage can build up, which can lead to skin cancer or melanoma. In other words, even the slightest suntan is evidence of skin damage. This is why you should stay in the shade or cover up when the sun is at its strongest (10am-4pm).
Ways to protect your skin:
A.Use sunscreen.
1.Apply sun lotion 30 minutes before you go out in the sun.
2.The effect of sunscreen reduces after one or two hours in the sun so you have to reapply it.
3.Swimming makes the skin more sensitive to the sun, so you have to put a stronger lotion and use water-resistant lotion.
Sweating dissipates sunscreen, you have to reapply it.
Besides having skin cancer, sunlight can cause wrinkles!!!
B.Stay in shaded areas to avoid sunlight
C.Use a hat to avoid sun rays from falling directly on your face.(It can cause wrinkles).
