So when you have this disease, your bones become weak and if you fall, your bones have greater risk of being fractured.
However, there are ways to protect yourself from having weak and brittle doing weight bearing exercises:
Examples are:
weight training, dancing, running and some of yoga postures, Aerobics class,Team sports involving running and throwing -- basketball, football, baseball, softball, volleyball .
The most important thing to remember though is not to fall!If you fall, you might fracture your bones! To protect yourself from falling is to have strong bones and this can be achieved if you learn to balance properly and strengthen your bones.
Another important aspect is to take the right food and drink. Add more calcium to your diet and take less caffeine in your system.
